B2 fine arts

B2 Fine Art Gallery/Studios (pronounced B squared) at 711 St. Helens, is the home of Tacoma, Washington’s newest fine art gallery/studios project. An artist run, contemporary art gallery and creative space dedicated to bringing an array of provocative, relevant, emerging and established artisans throughout the Northwest, and around the globe. The space features 4,200 square feet, providing the opportunity for artists, curators, writers, and educators to engage with each other while simultaneously reaching out to neighborhood residents, and the general public. The space is located in the Historic Theater District at Ledger Square, and tucked within Tacoma’s emerging downtown neighborhood. Built in 1910, the Ledger Square Building was the original headquarters for the Tacoma News Tribune. The surrounding square served as the gathering place for Tacomans waiting for major events/election results and sporting announcements. B2 plans to play a unique role in the South Sound’s cultural landscape, and become pivotal to the continued growth of Tacoma as – the Northwest’s emerging Art City.
