Pace/Macgill Gallery

Paced/MacGill strives to disseminate the work of its artists to museums, private collectors, and corporate collections around the world. The gallery has had the privilige of representing such masters of photography as Harry Callahan, Robnert Frank, Irving Penn, etc. The gallery’s affiliation with The Pace Gallery has also created close working relationships with, and representation of, Chuch Close, Paul graham, Hai Bo, and Hiroshi Sugimoto. The gallery has contributed to photography\s growth by mounting exhibitions featuring the most distinguished practitioners of the medium, and has also assisted in the developmenmt of many new artists’ careers. Through its consistent ability to secure the finest vintage photographs, Pace/MacMill Gallery has established many price records over the years for individual works by Diane Arbus, Andre Kertesz, Man Ray, Paul Outerbridge, Charles Sheeler, Alfred Steiglitzx, and Paul Strand. These records testify to the growing recognition of photography as a significant art form.
